My Kind of Monday loves getting new contributions from our growing community. If you feel you have something interesting to contribute, please read the guidelines below before getting in touch via our contact form.
If you want to write for us, here’s what you need to know:
Be Clear, Concise & to the Point
Stick to the facts: Please avoid heavily opinionated pieces and link to well established references
Be original: We do not accept articles which have featured, or will feature, on other websites. Please stick to original content and be sure to look through our previous articles to avoid covering the same topic
Images welcome: Feel free to use relevant images, but make sure you have the rights to use them or add a link to the source
No SEO-driven fluff: We won’t be accepting articles that are stuffed with keywords or obvious sales pitches for you product or business, so don’t bother trying to submit. We are looking for people to make valuable contributions to the blog, so please only write about topics our readers will be interested in. We cover a wide range of topics, so there’s plenty to choose from
Bio: We are more than happy to include a brief bio since we do not compensate for posts. Please keep it short (2 or 3 sentences) and feel free to include a link to your website or social media profile. Please include a headshot for us to use with your bio
Word Count: Between 600 to 1500 words
Title: This should clearly reflect the content of the article and grab your attention
Paragraphs: Avoid lengthy paragraphs, separating your article into smaller paragraphs makes it easier to read.
Subheadings: Use relevant section headings
